Advanced Neural Therapy

Release the nervous system
Unlock performance

Releasing the nerve to restore movement:
An innovative method unlocking new possibilities for unresolved clinical cases, while driving elite athletes to peak performance.

What we do

#1 Athlete treatments in Berlin

The INO Method follows a progressive seminar curriculum, from foundational nerve anatomy to advanced clinical practice, always hands-on, in small groups, and built around real case work.

Our Approach

Joan and his team treat athletes and patients in the area of mobility and sport, using the Montserrat Method of Nerve Optimization.

By tracing symptoms through nerve pathways to find the root cause, they helps high-level athletes and patients with complex pain issues to achieve results training alone can’t reach.

Step 1

Observation

Reading posture, balance, and movement to understand and decode how your body is functioning.

Reading the body through drawing

Before Joan treats, he draws. Each session begins with a detailed anatomical sketch, mapping structure, asymmetries, and movement patterns.

Mapping your individual nervous system

No two nervous systems are identical. Joan traces the unique pathways of your nerves — following their specific routes through muscle, joint, and tissue — to understand how your body is wired.

Step 2

Structure

Assessing muscles and joints to identify what’s limiting performance or causing pain.

Communicating with the nerves directly

Most treatment targets the brain's interpretation of pain. By stimulating and assessing nerve responses along their individual paths, Joan identifies precisely where signals are being interrupted.

Following each nerve to its root

A symptom is rarely where the problem lives. Following each nerve pathway from its point of compression back to its origin, this approach turns a local complaint into a system-wide understanding.

Locating the weak point and beginning there

By identifying the primary point of dysfunction, Joan addresses the right thing first allowing the rest of the system to reorganise around it.

Step 3

Nerve Release

Locating and releasing compressed nerves to restore pathways allowing the body to move and heal.

Freeing the nerves and restoring neural flow

Using precise manual techniques, Joan addresses the compressions identified in the mapping phase. Each intervention aims at supporting the flow of neural signals along that individual pathway.

Releasing blockages and unlocking new movement

As nerve compressions are addressed, the body may begin to access movement patterns it had lost or never fully found. Athletes may notice force and range that was previously limited. Patients with long-standing restrictions sometimes discover possibilities that had felt out of reach.

Step 4

Integration

Bringing posture, movement, and neurological signals together into a unified functioning system.

Changing biomechanics at the deepest level

Surface-level change is rarely enough. Targeting the neuromuscular patterns that govern how the body moves aims at altering them at the level of nerve and tissue, so that any change runs deeper than the symptomatic level.

Drawing your individual plan

Based on everything observed, mapped, and treated, Joan creates a written and drawn plan specific to you. This is the bespoke Method that exists for one body only. It defines the treatment sequence, training adaptations, and milestones that will guide your progress from this point forward.

Following through and progress monitoring

The plan is only as good as the follow-through. Joan monitors progress, adapts the program as the body responds, and stays available between sessions. For athletes: this is the phase where the work meets the performance. For complex patients: this is where movement may begin to return. For everyone: this is where the process becomes personal.

The INO Method is developed in collaboration with your existing medical team (doctors, coaches, physiotherapists, and sports medicine specialists) as part of a comprehensive, integrated approach to your care.
